Presenting issues can include; Rape, Sexual assault, sexual harassment, historical child-sexual abuse, domestic violence (physical or psychological including coercive control), on-line grooming, stalking, sexting and psychological aggression (This list is not exhaustive).

Counselling Services are available for adults and young people (aged 12 years and upwards). Parental Support is also on offer to parents for young people who have been impacted by DSGBV. In addition, we offer support counselling to a partner, family member or friend who is supporting the person who has been abused.

Services are available in Wexford town, Enniscorthy, Gorey and New Ross.

Garda and Court accompaniment is also offered to clients. Wexford Rape Crisis also delivers and educational programme on Consent & Sexual Violence Prevention to young people in secondary schools throughout Co. Wexford.

We are a confidential counselling service,
appointments can be made by
ringing the freephone number:

Wexford Rape Crisis requests €20 per counselling session.

This is to help fund our counselling service and address our extensive waiting lists. Any client not in a position to pay the full fee has the option of paying part thereof or anyone who is not in a position at all will not be denied counselling.

If you have any questions you need answering in relation to Domestic, Sexual or Gender-based violence, a counsellor will speak to you in confidence on the helpline.

(We would like to say a big thank you to all our clients who contributed to our short film – we hope that we can reach out to those who need support, please call us on 1800 33 00 33)
