Advocacy & Court/Garda Accompaniment:

Educational Service/Information Talks
Wexford Rape & Sexual Abuse Support Service offers an Educational Outreach Service to all secondary schools in County Wexford.

This service involves the delivery and facilitation of a Safety Awareness & Youth Information Training Programme to Transition Year students.  The “Learning for Living” programme consists of 5 ninety minute sessions.

“Learning for Living” gives young people the opportunity to explore their own behaviours, communication styles, beliefs and values.  It also gives them the chance to learn how to communicate clearly & effectively and provides them with the tools to face difficult real life situations e.g. bullying, pressure from peers, or unhealthy relationships. The programme also helps them identify good relationships and the warning signs of a bad relationship and how to stay safe and who to contact if they are sexually assaulted in any way.

Information talks can on request be delivered to community groups.  Please contact the Freephone Number for details.
